Vintage
The 2021 vintage proved dry and warm days with an extended bud break and bloom. Crop levels were low, with high quality at harvest. Seductive and precise with incredible depth and sophistication. Despite early accessibility, this Red Blend will continue to be generous for at least another 5+ years.
Winemaking
The Reynoso Family Vineyards 2021 Red Wine is 100% Estate Grown and consists of 37% Cabernet Sauvignon, 32% Syrah, 18% Petit Verdot, 13% Petite Sirah. Fully hand-picked and sorted, the grapes were crushed and destemmed to tank for a 5-day cold soak. On-skin fermentation ranged from 20-33 days with punchdowns 3 times daily descending as fermentation progressed. The final blend was transferred to newtral French oak barrels for 30-months.
