The 2012 Fess Parker Rodney's Syrah, is loaded with aromas of blueberry, black cherry, raspberries, lavender, pepper and smoke. Hints of creme de cassis come through, with white chocolate and spice. Aged gracefully for 20 months in 38% new French oak. It's fine, medium to full bodied, and a downright attractive, silky textured wine. Big wine to pair with big foods.
