Prior Vintage Scored 97 Points, Double Gold
- Sunset International Wine Competition

Pure, delicious, vibrant with aromas of white peach and wild white plum on the nose, followed by lime, jasmine, green apple, and crisp star fruit.  The mouth centers with pomelo and ginger lime leading into a mid-palate of fresh squeezed lime over papaya, lime zest on top of light lemon curd.  Finishes with balanced acidity adding length to its mouthwatering profile.

These kind of bottles empty quick. Stock up for the warm weather.
One of our favorites to splash around all day long.

Vintage
The 2021 vintage proved to be a near-perfect vintage. There is always something to complain about in farming and 2021’s early season issue was a lack of rain. While the berries were smaller and thus yielded a lighter than average crop load, the higher skin-to-juice ratio provides for a more complex and concentrated wine. With a harvest date of August 27, the fruit was picked safely to the winery before the fires began.

Winemaking
At Reynoso, all work is done by hand: from leaf-pulling and green drop, to harvesting into half-ton bins. Once the growing season is over, the fruit is gently crushed into half ton bins, where they undergo a slow, cool fermentation. The Sauvignon Blanc grapes were hand-picked at 22.8 Brix and barrel fermented with wild yeast showcasing the best of the best of the Reynoso Estate. 100% neutral French oak barrel fermentation using only native yeasts. After fermentation the wine saw 6 months in barrel before bottling.  As with many of their wines, Reynoso is inspired by the great wine-growing regions of France, where minimal manipulation allowing the terroir to be most fully expressed.

Gold Medal
Light pink in color with aromas of watermelon, cranberry, orange rind, and fresh spring flowers that leap from the glass.  The palate offers more peach, strawberry, and melon, with an intriguing note of rose and hibiscus.  It's crisp with just the perfect hint of red fruit, and delicate whisper of strawberry that gives goosebumps.
