96 Points - The Wine Insider

Deep, powerful and complex, with a perfect touch of graceful hillside swagger.  Opens up with an alluring dark garnet hue and lofty aromas of fresh berries, cherry cola, blueberry, mountain herbs, forest floor, savory spices, and roasted black walnut.

The plate offers layered flavors of dark cherry, briary blackberry, ripe plum and cassis interlaced with complimentary notes of dried cranberry, red pear, wild sage, cinnamon, clove, and a decadent hint of dark chocolate truffle on the indulgent finish.  Richly textured with bright acidity, chewy tannins and firm structure.  A true diamond in the rough that becomes luxurious in the glass as it opens up, and will develop even more silkiness when aged to perfection.

Pure mountain flavors and a gem for the price!  Ready to drink now, and will age gracefully easily for another 7-10 years.

Extremely limited 70 cases!
