Savory aromas of dark berries, cassis, baking spices and vanilla that intermingle with earthy notes of dried tobacco, cigar box and leather.  This wine is bold and racy.  Ripe dark cherry, chocolate, licorice and mint open up at first, with cedar, bay leaf, tobacco, leather and sweet new oak shining through.  Dark fruit flavors carry on to the palate, with dark chocolate, vanilla and a hint of black currant.

A great example of where Cabernet's structure and depth are balanced by Syrah's jammy fruit-forward flavors.  Pairs well with rich spicy dishes like rosemary & garlic rack of lamb, or a spicy grilled steak.

Cosa Obra
2023 Rosé, Sonoma County

Gold Medal
Light pink in color with aromas of watermelon, cranberry, orange rind, and fresh spring flowers that leap from the glass.  The palate offers more peach, strawberry, and melon, with an intriguing note of rose and hibiscus.  It's crisp with just the perfect hint of red fruit, and delicate whisper of strawberry that gives goosebumps.
