This wine comes exclusively from estate vineyard rows and are all hand tended by the family resulting in a wine that is delicious, elegant and very special.
VINEYARD
Located on a south-facing 3 acre slope behind the winery on the west side of the town of Napa. Planted on 101-14 rootstock, varietals include Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Syrah, Petite Sirah, Petite Verdot, and Viognier. The vineyard is narrowly spaced with 6 feet between rows and 4 feet between vines. Row direction is northeast/southwest and the soil is a clay loam.

Dark fruit aromas of black raspberry, blackberry and black cherry steer the aromatics backed by baking spices, anise and lavender. A touch of Syrah to add tannin and depth. On the palate, black cherry and blackberry preserve shine through rounded out by herbs de Provence, dark chocolate and vanilla. A gorgeous expressive wine!

Polished and elegantly layered Grenache, Mourvèdre and Syrah offers red plum and black cherry, with hints of cigar box, forest floor, bay, baking spices, light pepper and vanilla on the nose. Expressive black raspberry, sassafras and smoky pepper flavors that linger with salted dark chocolate, red plum, cherry with notes of pepper on the palate.
