Aromatic, and beautifully balanced, has a wide array of tropical/citrus notes and maintains the PERFECT acidity and freshness so vital to great Chardonnay. Aromas of stone fruit, lemon zest and a hint of vanilla, lead to a rich and enveloping palate of lychee fruit and toasted almonds. Fermented in 34% new French oak for 9 months. Aged on the lees, and hand stirred regularly promoting depth and longevity. Really well-made wine. Load up! Perfect for summer drinking. Medium to full bodied with great length, this is early evidence that the hype about 2016 is true, and we may have another stellar vintage to look forward to. Chardonnay lovers will not want to miss this one.

Concentrated and complex, the palate is a balanced interplay cocoa, and a hint of espresso, creating both richness and intrigue. Juice explodes right out of the glass with its dark purple in color and bursting aromas of black cherry jam, boysenberry, raspberry and wild cherry interlaced with hints of baking spice, espresso bean, and toasted nut. The palate is ripe and juicy with flavors of dark cherry, huckleberry and raspberry perfectly integrated with notes of spice, dark chocolate, and a kiss of toasty oak.

Deep red-purple with aromas of black currents, blackberry, plum, chocolate, earthy forest floor, licorice, graphite, and subtle floral notes of violet, spice and cracked pepper. The palate is full, structured and balanced with blackberry, currant, black cherry fruit with notes of earth, firm acid and silky tannins. Finishes big with blackberry fruit and peppery spice.
