Winemaking
The 2022 Sojourn wines offer exceptional overall quality and show wonderful depth, intensity and balance. The Rosé of Pinot noir was harvested at night and is a blend of saignée and pressed wine. The juice was fermented at low temperatures to maintain delicate aromatics and fresh fruit character.
Vineyards
This wine is a blend of Pinot noir from six unique Sonoma Coast vineyards ranging from Occidental to the Petaluma Gap. Gap’s Crown, Sangiacomo, Silver Eagle and Walala Vineyards represent key components used to produce this Rosé.
Vintage
A warm 2022 summer brought an early harvest, with a September heat wave influencing picking decisions. Cooler pockets of the Sonoma Coast fared well through the heat and the resulting wines offer depth and finesse.

On the palate, black cherry and blackberry preserve shine through rounded out by herbs de Provence, dark chocolate and vanilla. A gorgeous expressive wine!
