92 Points - BTI 2015 Gold Medal Winner
The 2013 vintage came as a welcome respite for growers in the Napa Valley. The resulting wines, especially Cabernets are just hitting the market now, so we are really excited to have snagged more of the latest release from one of our favorite vintners in Napa, Maroon. This family-owned and operated winery consistently turns out lovely wines.
The 2013 Maroon Signature Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon, is a dusty garnet color. Bright, creamy, funky aromas of berry custard tart, spiced chocolate graham crackers, and butter roasted nuts with a silky, bright, dry-yet-fruity medium body and a tingling, delightful, breezy sandalwood, cedar, and olive finish with fine, dusty tannins and moderate oak. A smooth and supple Napa cab. This is drinking well now, and should continue to evolve in the cellar for the next 3-5 years.

Light pink in color with aromas of watermelon, cranberry, orange rind, and fresh spring flowers that leap from the glass. The palate offers more peach, strawberry, and melon, with an intriguing note of rose and hibiscus. It's crisp with just the perfect hint of red fruit, and delicate whisper of strawberry that gives goosebumps.
